50TH REUNION

CONESTOGA CLASS OF ‘59

Save the weekend of September 25 to 27, 2009

Our really big 50th reunion weekend several months away, but it is not too early to circle the date on your calendar and make plans to join your classmates. We have reserved an elegant banquet room for September 26, 2009 and, as in the past, will also organize parties for Friday night, Saturday during the day, and Sunday breakfast. In addition to the Class of ‘59, we would be pleased to welcome members of other Conestoga classes who would like to join their friends for the celebrations.

The main event on Saturday will be held at Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli. The beautiful grounds and large, chandeliered ballroom with high ceilings and French doors to a long balcony overlooking the golf course surpassed our expectations. The experience of those who have attended functions at Waynesborough was that their food was delicious and well presented.

On Saturday morning, we may be able to add tennis and/or golf if any are interested. We are hoping to schedule a tour of Conestoga including lunch for Saturday.  Sunday morning we’ll come together again for a leisurely brunch at a nearby hotel.

We will send more details and a reservation page for our 50th reunion in the summer. If you have any questions, ideas, or information to relate, please contact one of the following committee members. We welcome your suggestions and are excited about seeing you again.
