Friends of Bob McQuiston would visit him every Wednesday morning during the time that he was battling cancer. They have continued those visits, but now it is to get together with his widow, Ruth Herman McQuiston. John Hamilton, Clark Marshall and Chuck Frank are three of them who knew Bob from the time they attended Easttown School. Also joining them are Dave Mayo and John Krajlevich. The link below is to a photograph that was taken in October 2008. In addition to our classmates there are two other friends of Bob McQuiston. Harvey Cornell worked as a real estate appraiser both for the New Mexico State Highway Department as in his private practice. He continues with the private practive, but now Harvey has cerebral ataxia and must use a motorized wheelchair to get around. This does not prevent him from enjoying life. For excitement he takes full speed trips on paths in the Sante Fe area. Sometimes he falls off onto the path and simply waits until a person comes along to put him upright again as always happens. He is in good spirits.

Around 45 years elapsed since Bill Keltz knew anything about his friend, George Kostecki. George was born in the Ukraine in 1939, and his father was murdered by Communists in 1940. After WWII his mother and a few relatives emigrated to the USA and lived in Tredyffrin Township for a few years. George attended TE Junior High in 7th and 8th grades. Bill located George in Davie, Florida. George has lived in Philadelphia, California and Chicago and is retired in Davie. In March George visited his sister in Philadelphia and took the Paoli Local to Paoli to see Bill and some of the old haunts. It was nostalgic.

Warner Blair continues to modify his invention which he calls the Robotrainer. This invention is a device that mounts to a basketball basket and then automatically directs a basketball back to the person who shot it even if that person moves. It uses sensors on the device and on the shooter and has four modes of operation. The link that follows will take you to a video demonstration of the robotrainer.
